Roman Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist

The oldest sacral monument of Modra, whose origins date back to the Romanesque period in the 13th century.

The church underwent several structural modifications in the 17th and 18th centuries. The interior is dominated by decoration in the Baroque style, his early Gothic wall paintings were recently discovered. A Renaissance bell tower from the 17th century is built into the original fortifications of the church.
