“We, modran winemakers, referring to millennial history growing grapes and making wine in our city, we unite for the purpose of preservation and upliftment viticultural and wine tradition in Modra. Referring to the generations of our fathers who improved the farm and built the brand through hard work modran wine at home and in the world, we commit to continue their legacy. We therefore declare that we will prioritize quality over quantity, natural wine-making practices over unnatural interventions, and prioritize varieties when planting and restoring vineyards typical for the Lesser Carpathian region, improve the countryside, protect our vineyards and spread the good name of the city of Modra at home and in the world. For this purpose, we establish trademark Wine from Modry™.”
