Location of Ľudovít Štúr's injury

The monument in the Modra Šnaudy district, where Ľudovít Štúr accidentally shot himself on December 22, 1855.

The place was first marked with a monument in 1956 and was restored in 1986. An area was created, dominated by a linden tree with a white marble area in front of the monument, on which the famous epigram Ľ. Štúra „Bílá, I hope you would be, when you call yourself Blue, black, it seems to me that you will eat my slouts before you eat.“
