Modranské oskoruše

Three Modran oskorushas have been protected since 2003. These rare trees rise on a hill behind the city walls and currently stand on private land.

The smallest tree, with a trunk circumference of 254 cm, with a crown diameter of 12 meters, has an estimated age of 150 years. The largest tree has a trunk circumference of 503 cm and an estimated more than 300 years. It belongs to the largest axles in Europe.
